Volleyball bracket generator
Volleyball events almost always run in two stages: pools to establish a ranking, then a cross-over knockout against the other pool. Both stages live in one editor here.
Editing is designed for desktop. On this screen you can view the bracket; open the tools below if you need to change something.
Everything stays editable: type your own team names, set scores and dates, then export the bracket as an image — a PNG in three sizes, no watermark.
Pools, then a cross-over
The standard club and school shape is pools of three or four teams, followed by a knockout where the top of one pool meets the second of the other. Twelve teams with groups plus knockout gives four pools of three by default, with one or two qualifiers per pool feeding a knockout of four or eight.
Snake seeding does the pool draw: seeds 1 to 4 go to pools A to D, then seeds 5 to 8 come back in reverse order. Strong teams are spread out without you shuffling cards on the gym floor.
Set scores, not rally points
Enter the match score as sets — 3-1, 3-2 in a best-of-five, or 2-0, 2-1 in a best-of-three. The score column is yours to use as a scoreline, and it is what will appear on the printed bracket.
Volleyball has no draws, so the knockout side of the bracket is simple: no shootouts, no manual advancement unless a match is abandoned and you have to record the outcome yourself.
Leagues and double round robins
For a league, a round robin up to 16 teams with double legs covers home and away fixtures, and the fixtures come out as a schedule you can export as CSV for the venue desk.
The standings work the same way for volleyball as for any sport in this tool: wins, losses and set difference by default rather than a points column, because league point rules vary by competition.
