About BracketBee

Last updated 2026-09-28

BracketBee is a free tournament bracket maker that runs entirely in your browser. You paste your team names, pick a format, and download a high-resolution PNG — without an account, without an email, and without a watermark added by us.

Why it is free

There is no server drawing your bracket and no database storing it, so the running cost of a bracket is close to zero. That means we do not need to charge for it, and we do not need to pay for it with ads in the editor or on the images you export.

Free means free to use and free to download: all five formats, every export size up to 3×, the CSV schedule, share links and the sample brackets, with no account and no usage limit.

Longer term we plan to earn money from tools aimed at organisers and businesses — white-label embeds, an API, bulk event management. Three things are off the table permanently: we will never add our own watermark to your export, we will never sell bracket or participant data, and we will never put ads in the editor or in what you download. Our reading pages (guides and answers like this one) may later carry a small amount of advertising to cover hosting.

What it does today

How we handle your data

Your bracket lives on your own device (browser storage) and, when you share it, inside the link itself. We have no accounts and no tracking cookies, and the analytics the site runs is cookieless — the details are in our privacy page.

What is next

Print-ready PDF export, embeddable brackets for league websites, and optional cloud sync for organisers running several events. If one of those matters to you, tell us which — the order we build them in is decided by what people ask for.
