Terms of use

Last updated 2026-09-29

By using BracketBee you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short, because the service is deliberately simple: a bracket tool that runs in your browser.

The service

BracketBee is provided free of charge, as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and features may change or be removed.

What “free” means

Every P0 feature is free of charge and stays free: all five formats, 2–128 teams, every export size up to 3×, the CSV schedule, share links, and the sample brackets. We do not charge for usage, team counts or exports, and no account or email address is required.

“Free” refers to your use of the tool and to what you download from it. It does not mean the site carries no advertising at all — see below.

Advertising

We do not run advertising today. If we introduce any, three rules are permanent: nothing in the bracket maker, nothing in what you download (PNG or CSV), and nothing in a share link. Any advertising will be on our reading pages only, never blocking or covering the tool, and where the law requires it (EEA, UK, Switzerland) it will only load after you consent. This page and our privacy page will be updated before any ad is served.

Your content stays yours

Team names, titles, scores and the images you export are yours. You can use them for commercial events, print them, and publish them. We claim no ownership over them — we never even see them, because they stay in your browser.

Keep a copy of your work

Brackets are stored on your device and in share links, not on our servers. If a bracket matters, download the PNG or copy the share link before clearing your browser data — we cannot recover a draft that your device no longer has.

Acceptable use

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the service — including a lost draft, a mis-seeded bracket, or a tournament run from an exported image. Check the bracket before you print it; that is what the preview is for.

Who runs this, and which law applies

BracketBee is run by an independent developer — a one-person project, not a company. There is no office and no agent behind it; the person who builds it is the person who answers your email.

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. If we cannot settle a dispute by email, it will be handled by the courts that have jurisdiction under that law.

Nothing above takes away protections you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live; where that law lets you bring a claim in your own courts, you still can. For business use, the governing law above applies without that carve-out.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top of the page will change when we do. Questions:hello@bracketbee.com.
