32-team bracket
Thirty-two teams fill the bracket exactly: 31 matches, five rounds, no byes. Seed 1 opens against seed 32, seed 2 against seed 31, and the field splits cleanly in half.
Editing is designed for desktop. On this screen you can view the bracket; open the tools below if you need to change something.
Everything stays editable: type your own team names, set scores and dates, then export the bracket as an image — a PNG in three sizes, no watermark.
How a 32-team bracket works
Because 32 is a power of two there are no byes: 16 first-round matches, then 8, 4, 2 and the final — 31 matches in total.
Standard seeding gives you first-round matches of 1 vs 32, 16 vs 17, 8 vs 25, 9 vs 24 on the top half, and the mirrored pairs on the bottom. Seeds 1 and 2 are kept apart until the final.
The size where every format is available
Thirty-two teams is the top end of several formats in BracketBee: double elimination supports up to 32 (with a power-of-two count), Swiss supports up to 32, and groups plus knockout reaches exactly 32 as eight groups of four.
Round robin is the exception — it stops at 16 teams, because 32 teams would need 496 matches.
Printing and sharing 31 matches
The portrait export at 2× or 3× gives you a wall chart; the schedule view gives you one line per match, grouped by round or date.
For a big bracket, the CSV schedule is often more useful to the desk than the tree: you can sort it, filter it and tick matches off as they finish.
